๐ 1. Introduction & Overview
Welcome to Kids 360, an all-in-one early learning and educational entertainment application designed for preschoolers, toddlers, and young children. Kids 360 is developed and published by Cruz Mobile Solutions ("we", "us", or "our").
Kids 360 provides a fun, colorful, and interactive playground containing:
- ABC & Alphabet Learning: Letter recognition, interactive phonics, tracing, and foundational vocabulary.
- 123 & Number Fun: Counting, number identification, simple math exercises, and object sorting.
- Nursery Rhymes & Music: Classic sing-along rhymes, animated poems, and audio-visual lullabies.
- Painting, Drawing & Coloring: Creative digital canvas with coloring pages, brushes, stamps, and color palettes.
- Early Skill Mini-Games: Shapes, colors, memory match, animal sounds, and puzzle activities.
Because our users include young children, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of safety, ethics, and transparency. This Privacy Policy outlines our data handling practices and our pledge to keep your child's digital environment secure and worry-free.
๐ธ 2. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)
We strictly comply with international children's privacy regulations, including:
- COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) in the United States.
- GDPR-K (General Data Protection Regulation - Kids) in the European Economic Area & UK.
- Google Play Families Policy and Designed for Families program guidelines.
- Apple App Store Kids Category privacy standards.
- We do NOT require children to register or create accounts.
- We do NOT collect personal information (such as real name, home address, school, email, phone number, or geolocation) from children.
- We do NOT condition a child's participation in games on disclosing any personal data.
- We do NOT engage in behavioral targeting, interest-based tracking, or profiling of children.
๐ 3. Information We Collect
Kids 360 is intentionally architected to minimize data collection. We categorize information into two types:
A. Information We DO NOT Collect
- No names, usernames, passwords, or personal profiles.
- No precise or approximate GPS location data.
- No photos, videos, or camera access from the child.
- No audio recordings stored or transmitted off-device.
- No contact lists, social media logins, or messaging capabilities.
B. Non-Personal & Operational Information We May Process
To ensure smooth game performance, sound playback, crash diagnostics, and family-safe non-personalized ads, we and standard operating system SDKs process strictly non-identifying operational data:
- Device ID (from Google AdMob): An ephemeral, non-personal device identifier processed by the Google Mobile Ads SDK solely for contextual ad delivery, frequency capping (ensuring young learners are not shown identical ads repetitively), and invalid traffic / bot fraud prevention. This identifier is not linked to user identity and is never used for cross-app tracking.
- Advertising Data (from Google AdMob): Contextual ad impressions, interactions, and display telemetry needed to display family-safe, COPPA-certified advertisements in free tiers. This data is not linked to user identity and is never used for cross-app tracking.
- Product Interaction & Analytics (from Google Firebase): Aggregated and anonymized usage metrics (such as app open events, alphabet phonics played, coloring canvas opened, level completion rates) collected via Firebase Analytics to evaluate feature popularity and detect performance bottlenecks. This data is not linked to user identity and is never used for cross-app tracking.
- Aggregated Crash Diagnostics (from Google Firebase Crashlytics & Apple Analytics): Crash stack traces, OS versions, and device model specs to diagnose and fix app freezes. These technical reports contain zero child-identifying information.
- Local App State: Current level reached, unlocked coloring sheets, volume preferences, and saved drawings (stored strictly on your device).
โ๏ธ 4. How We Use Information
Any non-personal technical information is utilized solely for legitimate educational and technical purposes:
- To render interactive educational modules (phonics audio, alphabet tracing, number counting, rhyme playback).
- To allow kids to paint, color, erase, and save artwork to their device gallery or in-app scrapbook.
- To diagnose bugs, optimize rendering speed on tablets and phones, and prevent battery drain.
- To fulfill customer support or technical enquiries initiated by parents.
๐พ 5. Local Storage & Kid Artworks
Kids 360 is built with an offline-first philosophy:
- Educational Activities: ABC, 123, nursery rhymes, and painting canvases function fully without requiring an active internet connection.
- Child's Drawings & Paintings: Artwork created in the painting module is saved exclusively to local device sandbox storage (or device photo gallery only if explicit parental permission is granted). We never upload your child's drawings to remote cloud servers.
- Game Progress & Stars: High scores, completed alphabet tracing, and stars are kept locally in device preference storage and will be cleared if the app is uninstalled.
๐ก๏ธ 6. Advertising (Google AdMob) & In-App Purchases
Advertising Standards & Google AdMob
We prioritize a safe learning environment. If any advertising is displayed in free tiers of Kids 360:
- Google AdMob Certified Family Ads: Advertisements are served via Google AdMob in strict compliance with the Google Play Families Policy, COPPA, and Apple App Store Review Guidelines.
- Child-Directed Treatment Flag: All ad requests are marked with COPPA child-directed treatment (
tagForChildDirectedTreatment: true). We do NOT serve personalized, behavioral, or retargeted advertisements. All ads are contextual and appropriate for young children. - Device ID & Advertising Data Scope: Google AdMob processes non-identifiable Device IDs and contextual Advertising Data solely for ad delivery, frequency capping, and bot detection. In full compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) rules, this data is NOT used to track users across third-party apps or websites.
- Accidental Tap Protection: Ads are positioned outside active gameplay and tracing canvases, preventing accidental taps by small fingers.
In-App Purchases & Parental Gate
If Kids 360 offers premium packs (such as extra nursery rhymes or expanded coloring books):
- All purchases are processed securely through official platform stores (Apple App Store In-App Purchases or Google Play Billing).
- A secure Parental Gate (math problem or complex gesture challenge) is placed in front of any purchase screen, external link, or parent setting to ensure that only adults can complete transactions.
๐ 7. App Permissions Explained
Kids 360 requests only the bare minimum system permissions required for core educational gameplay:
- Audio / Speaker: Used to play alphabet phonics, pronunciation guides, music, and nursery rhyme audio tracks.
- Storage / Photos (Optional): Only requested if the parent chooses to export or save a child's completed painting to the device's photo gallery.
- Network Access: Used exclusively for downloading optional audio updates, loading family-compliant safe ads (if applicable), or validating store purchases.
Kids 360 does NOT request access to Contacts, SMS, Location/GPS, Camera, or Bluetooth.
๐ค 8. Third-Party Services & SDKs (AdMob, Firebase & StoreKit)
We only partner with trusted SDK providers who certify compliance with children's privacy laws and Apple App Store standards:
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK): Serves non-personalized, family-safe advertisements in free tiers. Processes Device ID and Advertising Data (Purpose: Third-Party Advertising & App Functionality; Linked: No; Tracking: No).
- Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics): Gathers aggregated Product Interaction metrics and crash telemetry to identify performance bugs and app crashes (Purpose: Analytics & App Functionality; Linked: No; Tracking: No).
- Apple StoreKit & Google Play Billing: For secure receipt validation and in-app purchase handling.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any user or child data with third-party data brokers or marketing firms under any circumstances.
๐ 9. Apple App Store Privacy Disclosures (App Privacy Nutrition Label)
In accordance with Apple App Store Connect requirements, Cruz Mobile Solutions transparently declares all data types processed by Kids 360 and its integrated SDKs (Google AdMob and Google Firebase). None of this data is used for tracking purposes.
In response to Apple's App Privacy questionnaire, Kids 360 answers "NO" to "Used to track you" across all collected data types. Neither Cruz Mobile Solutions nor our third-party SDK partners use this data to track users across apps and websites owned by other companies (no Apple App Tracking Transparency / ATT tracking, no data broker sharing).
