❓ The balloon is not inflating when I blow. What should I check?
If blowing does not respond, verify the following:
- Microphone Permission: Ensure BlowBalloon has access to your microphone in your phone's Settings:
- iOS: Settings → BlowBalloon → Enable Microphone toggle.
- Android: Settings → Apps → BlowBalloon → Permissions → Microphone → Allow while using app.
- Check Mic Location: Make sure your fingers or phone case are not covering the bottom microphone opening.
- Sensitivity Calibration: Open in-app Settings and test the real-time Mic Level meter to check breath sensitivity.
❓ Is my voice or ambient room sound being recorded?
Absolutely NOT. BlowBalloon never records, stores, transmits, or analyzes speech. The microphone operates strictly like an analog sensor, measuring decibel amplitude (loudness) for a fraction of a millisecond to scale balloon size, immediately throwing the raw audio buffer away.
❓ Can I play without making any sound?
Yes! In the in-app Settings screen, you can toggle between Microphone Mode and Tap Mode. Tap Mode allows you to play silently using quick finger taps.
❓ Can I play BlowBalloon offline without an internet connection?
Yes. All core game levels, Party mode, Giant balloon challenge, and saved progress run 100% offline. An internet connection is only needed to load optional ads or update the app.
❓ How do I turn off sound effects or vibration?
Tap the ⚙️ Settings icon from the main menu. Here you will find separate switches for:
- Sound effects: Turn on/off cartoon balloon squeaks, air inflations, and pop sounds.
- Vibration: Turn on/off haptic buzzing when balloons inflate and pop.
❓ How do I reset my game progress or start over?
In Settings, tap the "Reset Progress" button. A confirmation popup will ask you to confirm. Once accepted, all levels, coins, and custom skins will be reset to a brand-new state.
