πŸ“… Effective Date: October 2026 β€’ Version: 1.0 β€’ App ID: com.eveandy.tools360

1. Introduction & Overview

Welcome to Tools 360 ("the App"), an all-in-one suite of everyday utilities, smart sensors, financial calculators, document scanners, and productivity tools developed and published by Cruz Mobile Solutions ("we", "our", or "us").

This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application for Android and iOS handles your personal information, what permissions are requested, and how we protect your security when using any of our tools. By installing or using Tools 360, you acknowledge and agree to the practices outlined in this policy.

Core Privacy Promise: We believe in privacy by design. Tools 360 processes all your sensitive documents, camera scans, notes, calculations, and sensor measurements locally on your device. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal content or files.

2. Information We Collect

We believe in minimal data collection. We categorize the information handled by the app as follows:

A. Information You Create & Store Locally

  • Scanned Documents & Images: Photos captured for PDF creation, cropped document pages, and exported scan results.
  • Text & OCR Extracts: Text recognized from images via on-device optical character recognition (OCR).
  • Notes & Lists: Quick notes, grocery items, checklist records, and custom user reminders.
  • Financial & Invoice Records: User-generated invoices, item descriptions, rates, customer bill names, and expense logs.
  • Digital Signatures: Signature strokes created via the Signature Pad tool.

* Note: All the above user-generated content is stored strictly within your device's local application storage sandbox (AsyncStorage and local app file directory) and is not uploaded to our servers.

B. Information Collected Automatically for Reliability & Diagnostics

  • Device Technical Data: Device model, manufacturer, operating system version (e.g. Android 14, iOS 18), language preference, and screen dimensions.
  • Anonymous Crash Telemetry: Non-personally identifiable crash stack traces and performance metrics collected via Google Firebase to help us diagnose and fix application crashes.
  • Network Information: General connection type (Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G) and ping/latency statistics when running the Internet Speed Test.

3. Device Permissions & Specific Tool Usage

Tools 360 asks for device permissions only when required to provide specific tool features requested by you. Below is an itemized breakdown of permissions and their purpose:

Permission Associated Tools How It Is Used
CAMERA Document Scanner, QR Scanner, OCR Scanner, Flashlight, Hidden Camera Detector Used in real time to capture document pages, read QR/barcode data, analyze text with ML Kit, and control the device flashlight LED. Camera feeds are processed locally and never recorded or broadcast.
STORAGE / PHOTOS PDF Scanner, Signature Pad, Invoice Generator, QR Generator Used solely when you tap "Save to Gallery" or "Export PDF" to save generated files to your device storage, or when you choose an existing photo to extract text via OCR.
MICROPHONE / SPEECH Speech-to-Text Used only when you tap the microphone button to convert spoken voice to written text. Audio streams are processed transiently and are never saved or eavesdropped.
SENSORS Digital Compass, Bubble Level, Sensor Monitor Accesses hardware magnetometer, gyroscope, and accelerometer sensors to compute orientation angles and compass heading. Sensor telemetry remains 100% on-device.
INTERNET & NETWORK Internet Speed Test, Multi-Language Translator, AdMob Ads Used to execute speed latency tests (download/upload), fetch language translations, and display compliant advertisements.
AUDIO / SPEAKER Speaker Cleaner Plays specialized audio wave frequencies through device speakers to vibrate and expel water droplets or dust.

4. On-Device Processing & Local Storage

Unlike cloud-dependent utility apps that transfer your sensitive receipts and documents to remote cloud storage, Tools 360 implements strict on-device computing:

  • OCR Text Recognition: Powered by Google ML Kit on-device libraries. Image analysis occurs within your device CPU/GPU memory without transmitting image bytes across the web.
  • Offline Capability: All primary tools (Calculators, Notes, Unit Converters, Compass, Level, Flashlight, Signature, Stopwatches) operate completely offline without internet connectivity.
  • File Ownership: You retain complete, unrestricted ownership of all PDFs, invoices, notes, and signatures created with Tools 360.

5. Third-Party Services & SDKs

To support ongoing maintenance, free access to utilities, and app stability, Tools 360 integrates select industry-standard third-party SDKs:

A. Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads)

The app displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process device advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID or IDFA) and general location data to serve relevant, policy-compliant ads.

  • Users can opt out of personalized ads at any time via device settings (Settings β†’ Google β†’ Ads β†’ Delete / Reset Advertising ID on Android, or Settings β†’ Privacy & Security β†’ Tracking on iOS).
  • Google AdMob Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

B. Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics)

We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to monitor overall application health, detect crashes, and analyze general tool adoption (e.g., how frequently the Document Scanner is used). This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

Tools 360 is a general utility productivity application intended for general audiences. It is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13.

  • We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and GDPR-K.
  • We do not knowingly collect, harvest, or request personal information from children under 13.
  • If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal details through our customer support channels, please contact us immediately, and we will promptly erase the information.

7. Data Retention & Account / Data Deletion

In full compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1, Google Play User Data Policies, and global privacy laws, you have absolute control over your data:

A. In-App Data Reset

Since your documents, notes, invoices, and expenses are stored locally on your device:

  1. Open Tools 360 β†’ Go to Settings.
  2. Tap "Clear All Data" to wipe all local database records instantly.
  3. Alternatively, open device Settings β†’ Apps β†’ Tools 360 β†’ Storage β†’ Clear Data to purge all cached files and storage.
  4. Uninstalling the application permanently destroys all local app sandboxed data.
Manual Data Inquiries: For any questions or assistance regarding data deletion, contact our support team at nani.gutla@gmail.com with the subject line "Tools 360 Data Deletion Request". We fulfill verified requests within 30 days.

8. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California), you may be entitled to specific statutory rights:

  • Right to Access: You have the right to request confirmation of whether we process any personal data concerning you.
  • Right to Deletion / Erasure: You have the right to request deletion of your data from our support records.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will never discriminate against you, alter service quality, or deny access for exercising your privacy rights.
  • Sale of Personal Information: We do not sell personal information as defined under California law (CCPA/CPRA).

9. Data Security

Cruz Mobile Solutions maintains rigorous technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your information:

  • All communications with external services (such as Firebase telemetry or translation APIs) use industry-standard TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit.
  • On-device file operations respect mobile OS application sandboxing, preventing other unauthorized apps from accessing your private scans or notes.

10. Contact Us & Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new app features, regulatory requirements, or platform updates. Any revisions will be published on this page with an updated "Effective Date".

If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy or your data, please contact our privacy desk directly:
